How to Prove Your Skills with Evidence

Evidence is most useful when it helps someone understand the work. It does not need to expose private documents or turn a personal claim into a guarantee.

Match the evidence to the claim

A project can show applied problem-solving, a credential can show completed training, and feedback can show how others experienced your work. Choose the record that answers the claim.

Describe your contribution

Team outcomes are valuable, but explain your part. Mention the responsibility, decision, method, or result you owned instead of implying that you did everything.

Protect people and organizations

Remove customer details, patient information, private links, internal identifiers, and anything you do not have permission to publish. A redacted summary can be stronger than a risky upload.

Use careful status language

Self-reported, evidence attached, and independently verified are different states. Keep them distinct so your Build stays credible as it travels.

Share deliberately.Public Builds are opt-in. Keep drafts, private records, and sensitive evidence out of anything you publish.
